Temporary installation. Sponsored by Cambridge Arts Council and Unihab, Inc., Cambridge, Mass.

This project was installed in a transitional space in a newly opened condominium named for an early surveyor of the area. The work was about the effect of the surveying process on the land–as the oversize hand and surveying tools pass over the land they leave it bare of trees. It was a memorial to the earliest European surveyor of the locale.
